Welcome to the AI Hackathon 2025, hosted by the Global CIO Forum. We’re thrilled to see your innovation in action. Please review the rules carefully — failure to comply may result in disqualification or reduced evaluation scores.

Submission Guidelines

All participants are expected to follow the submission instructions precisely. Incomplete or improperly formatted entries may not be considered for final judging.

Project Essentials

  1. Project Title: Clear and descriptive to reflect your idea.
  2. Short Description: Max 255 characters.
  3. Long Description: Minimum 100 words explaining the problem, your solution, audience, and value.
  4. Tags: Accurately assign relevant technology and category tags.

Cover Image & Presentation Requirements

  • Cover Image: PNG or JPG, 16:9 ratio.
  • Video Pitch: MP4 format, max 5 minutes.
  • Presentation Slides: PDF format outlining your solution, market, and roadmap.

Application and Code Requirements

  • GitHub Repository: Your project code must be hosted on a public GitHub repository.
  • Demo Application URL: Your working prototype must be accessible via platforms such as Streamlit, Replit, Vercel, or similar.
  • Interactive Evaluation: Ensure your app URL is active and testable.

Judging Criteria

All participants are expected to follow the submission instructions precisely. Incomplete or improperly formatted entries may not be considered for final judging.

Submissions will be evaluated based on the following pillars:

  1. Presentation: Clarity and impact of your communication.
  2. Business Value: Real-world relevance and commercial potential.
  3. Application of Technology: Effective and innovative use of AI technologies.
  4. Originality: Creativity and uniqueness of the concept and execution.

Technical Issues & Exceptions

In cases of unexpected technical difficulties, participants may request manual submission access within 6 hours post-hackathon. This must be approved in advance by the organizing committee or assigned mentors.

Ethical Code of Conduct

  • Zero Tolerance for Plagiarism: All work must be original or appropriately credited.
  • Fair Participation: Any attempt to manipulate voting or evaluation processes will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Respectful Behavior: All participants must maintain professionalism and respect toward other teams, mentors, and organizers.

Participation of Mentors & Organizers

  • Organizers & Mentors may participate for learning purposes but are not eligible for awards or judging.
  • Those involved in the judging process must not be affiliated with any participating team.

Judge’s Code of Conduct

All appointed judges for AI Hackathon 2025 are required to uphold the highest ethical and professional standards. The following principles are mandatory:
  1. Confidentiality: All project submissions must remain confidential throughout and after the evaluation process.
  2. Impartiality: Judges must recuse themselves from reviewing any project where a conflict of interest exists.\
  3. Transparency: Any personal or professional affiliations with participating teams must be disclosed.
  4. \Integrity: Judges are strictly prohibited from copying, retaining, or distributing any part of the submitted materials.
