The event will be held entirely online, hosted on the Global CIO Forum Hackathon Portal and supported via our Zoom Live for real-time interaction, mentorship, and team collaboration.

Yes. Every team member must register individually to be eligible for participation, including those competing solo.

Yes. Whether you’re going solo or with a group, you must create or join a team through our platform to officially participate.

After registering, go to your event dashboard and click “Create or Join a Team”, then choose “Create a Team” to start building your squad.

Join us live on  GCF Zoom Live for the official Kick-Off broadcast. Check the event page for the exact stream schedule.

Yes. All major sessions, including Kick-Offs and panels, will be recorded and shared with participants after the live broadcast ends.

Nope! Participation in Global CIO Forum hackathons is 100% free of charge. All you need to bring is your passion, creativity, and commitment.

To be considered for judging, your team must submit:

  • A working prototype of your solution (hosted online via platforms like Streamlit, Replit, or Vercel)
  • A public GitHub repository with your code
  • A video demo (MP4 format)
  • A pitch deck (PDF format) explaining your concept and impact

Anyone! We welcome developers, business strategists, designers, domain experts, and enthusiasts from all industries. AI needs diverse perspectives. While coding experience helps, it is not mandatory.

Yes — for learning and engagement only. However, if a mentor or organizer decides to build a project, they are not eligible for prizes or judging to ensure fairness and transparency.

Once winners are announced, we’ll contact the team to coordinate prize delivery. Prizes can be split among members or sent to the team lead.

Please allow up to 90 days for processing and delivery. Rest assured — we’ll get your reward to you as soon as possible.

Yes, at least one team member should have a GitHub account to host and share your project code. It’s free and easy to set up if you don’t already have one.
